A large-format LED video wall with central content control stages vehicles, campaigns and brand content.

How Volvo makes the showroom a digital brand experience for customers.

Content centrally self-managed

Less operational effort in operation

Volvo deploys Biem in the showroom in Zurich, from planning through implementation to operation from a single source. At the center is a digital brand experience directed by its own team.

Digital brand experience in the showroom

In the showroom, vehicles, architecture and digital communication come together. Biem connects them into a brand experience that can be continuously adapted, for campaigns as well as for product launches.

The challenge

A modern showroom is more than a salesroom. It is a brand world, an information platform and a customer experience at the same time. For the Volvo showroom in Zurich, a digital communication solution was therefore to be created that blends seamlessly into the high-quality architecture and can be easily managed by the internal team.

The Biem solution

Biem took over the planning and implementation of the digital signage in the showroom, a large-format LED video wall including content management and technical integration. The solution enables:

  • a large-scale staging of the brand and its products
  • the central control of all the content
  • short-notice adjustments for campaigns and product launches
  • on-brand communication in the showroom
  • single-source operation, maintenance and support

The marketing team manages the content autonomously and independently of external production processes, with access to automation and situational content.

The impact

The showroom became a digital touchpoint of the brand, where vehicles, campaigns and brand content are presented emotionally and with high quality. At the same time, central content management reduces operational effort and creates significantly more flexibility in communication.

From digital screen to intelligent touchpoint

The next development step lies in connecting digital communication and real-time data. In the future, content will align more closely with the respective situation in the showroom, and relevant information will support employees. Contributing to this are the analysis of attention in front of the screen, contextually published content, AI-supported information and advisory stations and real-time information for the sales teams.
